March Kitchen Island

My Portmeirion dishes are kept handy on the kitchen island.
In the wire dish caddy.
I used two dark green placemats for a runner. I bought them several years ago on sale for $1.
Added a few dark green napkins to the tray.
I can grab a different flower with each place setting.
This one is my new favorite.

Cheers!

  1. Great idea. I wish I had an island with enough room to do something like that.

  8. I love your Portmeirion dishes! I'm very envious of them!!! It's what I originally wanted to register for when we got married 17 years ago, but hubby thought it was "very bright" so I got Noritake Conservatory, which is beautiful . . . however it's not made any longer . . . now he get's "the look" when he tries advises me on dishes because "he knows" he messed up! LOL!!! So, last week I bought my first piece! It's a square plate with a yellow rose - love it!!!
