Chicken Decorating

Or, I should say.....decorating with chickens.
 "All My Chickens"
This large ceramic chicken sits on top of the wood cornice board.
It's in the breakfast area.
Note Lucy's do not disturb look.
A few chickens on the table.
Chicken-in-a-basket salt & pepper set.
I found these in an antiques mall in Alpharetta, GA.
I was visiting a girlfriend and we spent a fun day
shopping her favorite spots. I love souvenirs like this.
A Longaberger chicken trivet.
A blue glass covered chicken dish.

A fun vintage chicken apron from my
church lady apron collection.
It has a chicken pocket and lots of ric rac.
This chicken-in-a-basket watercolor hangs in my laundry room.
A chicken towel holder hangs inside my
The chicken or the egg?
More chicken wire on the salvaged kitchen cabinets.
I guess that makes me a chicken decorator.
Cheers!

  18. I love them all. The ledge is fabulous adn the rooster and all of your other things are so pretty. Love the blue plate and chicken dishes, and I absolutely love chicken wire in cupboard doors. I have always thought it was so great. The neatest thing I have seen in a long time is that chicken feeder that you've turned into a plate rack. That is so creative and such a great treasure. Thanks so much for joining TTT. Hugs, Marty

  19. I would so love to see your beautiful home in person! I adore the chicken feeder with the dishes...which I have told you before. I had one of those chicken head towel holders a long time ago. It stayed with that house when we sold. I still miss it!
