How To Grow A Sweet Potato Vine

Just put a sweet potato small end down into a jar with water.

Change the water every few days.
After about a week you'll see roots and sprouts.
It makes an interesting house plant.
It will soon develop several shoots.
In a few more weeks it should be nice and full.
I can then plant this outside.
Cheers!

  1. How creative! I had no idea they'd grow straight up, but the vines look very interesting. :)

I hope you don't mind, but I tagged you for a blog award:

  4. These do make a really pretty vine. Someone in town has been planting these in the city's planters. By the end of summer the are so full and almost to the street from a very tall planter. Thanks for linking this up to Home Sweet Home!
