Changing the table setting this week from
Summer to....."not quite ready for Fall".
Summer to....."not quite ready for Fall".
Royal blue and white leaves for....."not quite Fall".
Grapes and leaves pattern plates on rattan chargers.Napkins just folded to show more stripped border.
This white pumpkin salt and pepper set started it all.
I found the set on clearance at BBB for 89 cents.
A tower of cups and saucers
are ready for coffee and dessert.
I've mixed in this small dessert set with a
blue and white fruit pattern
that is different from the dinner plates.
The picket fence caddy holds the extra
dessert dishes, a leaf designed votive candle holder
and sparkling water in a cobalt blue glass bottle.
I'll be Fall-ing soon!

ReplyDeleteLoving the blue! I'm not ready for fall either! I'm holding to the end! Technically we have about a month to go! That's a pretty pattern on the dishes and the white pumpkin salt and pepper shakers are cute! Your napkins turned out great!
ReplyDeleteI will hold off for about 2 more weeks. It is getting hard as I am ITCHING to get my Fall things out but I will refrain:):) Your table is beautiful! LOVE those cute S and P set! What was for breakfast? Wish I was there! XO, pinky
ReplyDeleteAs a lover of blue and white, I really enjoyed this table setting. The two b&w patterns are lovely and mix well. The napkin fold is unusual and provides a stunning accent.
ReplyDeleteThose salt and peppers are wonderful and the price was just great...what is BBB?
Although our weather around here is like spring, 70-75, I do love fall, I always did, as I'm a NYorker, because my b'day is in Oct. Your table is so beautiful, I love your blue and white china and the S&P pumpkins are so cute, it set the mood! I want to make a fall table too, you've set me in the mood for a fall tablescape, I'll wait til I go home, as I'm visiting my daughter 8 hrs. away by car.
ReplyDeleteLots of hugs, FABBY
This is so ingenious, Rita, like a little peek-a-boo of autumn. It's my favorite season, so I'm always ready for it but this is just perfect for this month. I love it.
ReplyDeleteHi, Rita! I am nowhere close to being ready for fall. This summer has been so excruciatingly hot and we are just now getting temps that feel like "real" summer, so I need to be able to enjoy this for awhile. I probably won't even THINK about fall until late September! I'm stubborn! :-) This is a pretty, pretty table. I love the napkin fold and the stacked cups & saucers. Cool!! I also really like the pattern of the china. It reminds me of the big, juicy blue grapes that are available at market right now. Have a great weekend, Rita!
ReplyDeleteI'm not ready for fall yet either (although it's my favorite season) -- love those adorable pumpkin s&p's though!
ReplyDeleteCount me in as not ready for fall. I love your blue and white china. My favorite color. Love the addition of the white pumpkin S & P. Nice little nod to fall but not quite yet. Ginger
ReplyDeleteLove the blue and white.
ReplyDeleteI AM ready for Fall, but I DO love your table! The blue and white is beautiful and your napkin fold is so cute!

Rita, is there a pattern name on the bottom of those beautiful blue and white plates shown in the first few pictures? The more I see of blue and white tablescapes..the more I am determined to use my dear MIL's blue and white dishes..chips and all!
