Hidden Storage

My favorite kind!
It holds more tennis cans! My
favorite free storage containers.
It's hidden behind my laundry room door.
I had the idea and Larry built it in no-time
this morning before leaving on a
business trip. He knew I couldn't wait.
This is better than flowers!
We had enough 3-1/2X1-1/2 wood in the
garage for this emergency project.
It just fits in the space behind the door.
It's not been 'detailed' yet with putty and
paint. I had to test it out and load it up
with tennis cans. I couldn't wait.
This kind of project can keep me happy
and playing organizing for hours.
I should paint it, but I'm in no hurry.
This works for me!

  1. Goodness, what a great job! Now if only you could send Larry over hereI could find him a few projects to do ;o)
    Have a great week Rita.

  8. I have to have one! Calling my husband over right now.

  9. Great idea - I guess you play tennis quite often :-) Love that you can see everything at a quick glance!
I am having a giveaway of a digital scrapbook software program, if interested, stop by to enter!

  10. How wonderful is that, that you husband can build something like that just prior to leaving!..Great idea and kudos to your hubby!

  11. What a great way to organize all kinds of stuff that don't want to be organized! I love it!

  12. Rita! This is awesome! Great job! PLEASE come show off at my place on Wednesday! This is adorable!

  13. Please send Larry over here right now; see if he can bring a few tennis cans too. I've never seen this tennis can idea before, I may not be able to sleep tonight. Heading to tennis court trash can tomorrow.

  14. Have you ever wanted to visit Chicago? Cause I'm open to having some help getting organized by you, the Organizing Queen. This is such a great idea for small spaces, like my home. I have nooks like this and never thought of using before. My 1929 Charmer really lacks on closets, so ideas like this will really help me out. Now remember if you ever in Chicago....Thanks for sharing your inspiration at Sunday's Best Party!

  15. I love it and wonder where I would get tennis cans around here. My husband and I LOVE the music thanks.

  16. That is great! I could definitely use something like that behind our attic door.

  17. Great idea for such a narrow and usually unused space.

  18. love your hidden storage! The tennis cans are great for storage!

  19. This is so clever....LOVE it! No wasted space in your house! :D

  20. I have the perfect place for this storage in my storage room. Guess I'll have to learn how to enJOY tennis or find someone that does?

  21. Darn if only I played tennis!! Great idea

  22. On the down side, those hooks are useless now. ;) Nice project.

  23. Oh my gosh this is the most brilliant thing I have ever seen. How do I get tennis ball containers when I don't play tennis? I love how u can see everything
