DIY Homemade Foamy Soap

I discovered this by accident.
I had an empty foaming soap dispenser bottle that I tried to fill with regular liquid soap. I got a clogged mess!  I needed to empty out the soap solution.  That left just enough soap behind in the bottle that when I filled it the the rest of the way with water
It worked perfectly and dispensed foam.
That tells me that these products are mostly water.
So don't pay for water. Refill your foamers
with 3/4 water, and then top off with liquid soap or dish liquid.
Always add the water first, then add the soap.
Replace the pump, shake gently to mix.
Now you have foaming soap for pennies!
I must confess that I DO NOT like plastic soap dispensers.  I went on the hunt
for a cuter bottle. The cap on the foamers is larger than most bottles. I searched the
cabinet in the garage where I store my bottles and jars to find one that would fit.

This cutie is actually a wine bottle.
It's Klondike Farm Guernsey Red Table Wine.
It's one of the vineyards we visited on our
wine tour in the Yadkin Valley in North Carolina.
Of course I had to buy orange dish liquid and
tie on a little scrap of pumpkin fabric.
Cheers!
