Bears and Baskets

Love bears are sitting on top of the
refrigerator along with a vintage plaid thermos
and red ticking lined Longaberger baskets.
One bear has a heart sweater
and two are kissing with the use of magnets.
I store some of the smaller Valentine
decorations in these Valentine baskets.
I added a Brighton heart necklace to a bear.
These bears were 'adopted'
from the thrift store. They got a
washer and dryer spa treatment.
Peeking in the back on the cabinet door
you can see the heart rag wreath I
 made 2 years ago. HERE.
.
The corner of the kitchen island.
I found this great red iron scale along with
the vintage doilies and fabric apples
at my local antiques mall. It was on sale too.
A basket filled with red and white kitchen
towels are at one end of the island.
Red trimmed Longaberger baskets are held
over from being used at Christmas.
Plates fill up the chicken feeder rack. I love
changing the plates in it for all the holidays.
A red lined Longaberger basket holds chalk.
Bears in a basket under a living  end table.
All they needed was a red bow.

Cheers!

  1. Thanks quite a den of bears you have there. I too believe a basket is one of a bear's natural habitats. Love it!
