DIY Easter Egg Tree

I wanted a white branch to hang my
collection of hand painted blown eggs.

Step 1-Find a tree in the backyard
that can spare a branch.

 Step 2- Lop one off.

 Step 3-Trim off all the leaves.

 Step 4-Secure the branch for spray painting.
I used a wine bottle.

Step 5- Spray it white. 

Step 6- Wait 20 minutes for it to dry. 

Use this time to find a container. I'm using

 a Longaberger wine basket. I stuck the 

branch in a short bottle and weighted it 

with pebbles. I then scrunched some 

newspaper to fill the basket and 

topped it off with moss.

 Step 7- Hang the eggs. 

 All these eggs are hand painted (not by me).
When I'm done with the Easter eggs, I'll
hang the twig in the attic and I'll use it
for other holidays as well; hearts,
shamrocks, stars, bunting, etc. 

I put the egg tree on my patio dresser.

 I did this today instead of cleaning my house.

Between Naps On The Porch

Easter Cloches

The sofa table in the family room is redecorated for Easter.

Baskets, bunnies and eggs.

Small china bunnies fit inside the apothecary jars.

These large glass apothecaries have seen a lot of makeovers.

A hurricane candle sits in an ivy wreath on a milk glass cake pedestal. 

I used Easter jelly beans to fill the bottom of the glass hurricane.

 And that's just what I intend to do.

I still had cupcakes stashed in the freezer from last weekend.

The Easter Table

The breakfast table is set for Spring.

I started with a Longaberger 36" tablesquare. 

It's in Pastel Plaid and also matches the basket liners and handle tie.

 I used my sage green runner and the placemats again.

I added the wicker chargers that I bought at a community yard sale in NC. 

I'm also still using dishes that are Amapola by Villeroy & Boch. 

The  Easter egg print napkins are also Longaberger.

They're tucked into grapevine napkin rings.

I used a large whitewash Longaberger Easter 

basket set for the centerpiece.

 I filled the basket with blown eggs that I
had decoupaged using cocktail napkins.

Another pair of bunnies for this table.

 A dozen egg-shaped votive candles.

 A bunny tea set.

A paper mache bunny found in a thrift store.

Tulips salt and pepper set.

 Floral salt and pepper set along with the matching

sugar and creamer. All found for $1.00 at a garage sale.

Enamel candle bobeche rings.

Easter in The Family Room

The glass coffee table in the family room gets a few Easter touches.

A large twig basket that I've had for years
 is used for the centerpiece. 

I sprayed an old basket white to hold

 a 3-piece tea set I found at GW  years ago.

I cut a square of egg print fabric to make a table square. 

I've made several of these for different holidays.

I topped the skirted end table with it. 

Another Easter basket holds the remotes, extra reading glasses, etc.
Did you notice the lamp finial?

It's a bunny!
