Blue Mug Shots & More

The coffee/tea bar with blue and white
V&B mugs and a caddy for
blue handled silverware.
Small baskets are hung from drawer knobs.
They make great beverage caddy/coasters.
The wood works as a natural insulator
and keeps the drink cold and the ice lasts
much longer, and I don't need a coaster.
I couldn't resist this heart mug.
found for 25 cents at a thrift store.
I've been drinking coffee or tea
from it all week.
The vegetable basket is for fruit in the back
section and coffee filters in the front.
Blue and white kitchen towels on the towel
bar that's attached to the end of the island
with another thrifted crocheted pot holder.
 The kitchen view
from the patio door/breakfast area.

 Cheers!

  1. First..your blue and white kitchen is lovely dear Rita May! Oh, that heart mug would have come home with me too aand at 25 cents?! I love your coffee station, wish I could have a real one, as I just have a space with my coffee machine, but no space around it for any other items. Love your cozy kitchen!

  2. It all looks so PRETTY!! I think about your blog often. This week I made a wine cork/paint brush stirrer memo strip. I painted a tea cart that houses my plastic 'Tupperware' stuff and wondered.....how does SHE store HER stuff??? I'm sure you do it quite cleverly! I throw it in and shut the door FAST!!

  3. Your kitchen is so welcoming and lovely. I, too love the blue and white dishes and have several myself. Yours is a kitchen anyone would love to have tea in. And yes, I would love to keep calm and eat a brownie. Hugs, Deb

  4. I love the blue and white. Those colors are my first love and always make me so happy to see them in such happy presentations. Your blog inspires me... and I could use a heaping cuppa inspiration right now... Hugs.

  6. I love your BLUES!!! The heart mug is terrific, and I would have gotten it for my hubby. He is the one who drinks coffee, I never have. I know.... XO, Pinky

  8. Well, I'm with everyone else on that darling mug. Since I'm unlikely to find its sibling, I may have a go at making one at Petroglyph (a local paint-your-own pottery studio). It'll surely cost more than 25 cents, but blue and white together make my heart sing, AND I have a 'thing' for hearts!
