Shell Themed Table Setting

Now that we are happy to be back in Florida I thought I'd use a beachy blue and white look for this week's table setting. I had a few shell themed items to use.
I used royal blue placemats I got on sale for $.70 at TJMaxx years ago.
 Lighthouse salt and pepper set.
A white tea set from JCP's American Living collection. There's an outlet close by.
I took out the cranberries and I added collected shells to the glass hurricane.

I picked up 4 of these raised shell pattern plates at a McKinney, TX thrift store for $1.00.
Shell design napkin rings and shell napkins.
Cobalt blue stemware from Walmart. I've seen these glasses for much more in speciality shops.
Large hammered look salad bowl and matching small bowls.
You can see my antique Singer sewing machine base thru the glass top. I painted it white.
 What's for dinner tonight?
Beef with Snow Peas.
For the recipe go to my recipe blog  HERE.

Cheers!

  1. I'm a Floridian, too, and I am ready for warm weather! :-) Loved going to the beach with you. Very cute tablescape.

I did a fallish tablescape tonight just for something different, and I forgot to mention in the linky that I am having a china drawing. Would love to have you join the fun!

    Happy Tablescape Thursday...

    XO,

    Sheila :-)

  2. I'll bet you ARE happy to be back in Florida! The rest of the nation is just being treated in a BRUTAL manner by Mother Nature! Great table with the colors I love that soothe the soul! Gives me hope that it won't be long before spring has sprung 'round here!

  3. I just love the blue and white theme. My favorite. It's cold here in Florida but not like it is up north.

  11. Beautiful refreshing Florida table. Wish I was soaking up some warm sunshine today, your table at least gives me a boost as I look out the window at the snow coming down.

  12. It's taking me a while to get to all the other tablescapes. I love this one because it's not only so PRETTY, it warmed me up.

I'm so crazy about blue and white.

  13. Love those blue wine glasses or water goblets you got to go with your blue set of dishes. I almost bought that same set of dishes in JCP but was looking at a color. Landed 2 sets of Gibson dishes from BigLots instead in White so they can be mixed with any color or pattern dishes. I like that pattern at JCP. I need to get some new everyday flatware. Have 2 sets of silverplate stored under the bed for special occassions.

Bet you have a bumper sticker on your car or van that reads "Caution! This vehicle stops at all Thrift stores or flea markets!" If you don't, bet you can make one up and sell them in your Etsy Shop.
