We like to dine out a lot in the winter months.
Someplace with a sunset view by the water.
Paisley placemats and cobalt glass chargers
My new flower box centerpiece. Larry built this today. I'll show the details in my next post.
Blue and white plates. I found this whole set at a local flea market for $15.
Set for tonights dinner.
The dishes also included a matching salt and pepper set.
tea cups and small plates.
After the sun goes down.
We turn on the patio lights.
They are hung under the roof overhang .
Table for two.
A wrought iron candelabra holds votive candles.
The winter months are the best for dining alfresco.
Cheers!
So that we can enjoy a perfect Florida sunset.
The sound of a waterfall would be nice.
Hanging baskets of orchids.
Colorful bougainvillea

The sun sets earlier and the evenings are cooler.
One of our favorite dinners; grilled flank steak with our favorite sauce...bearnaise sauce.
Steamed artichoke hearts and oven roasted potatoes are perfect alongside.
WELCOME to MAY HOUSE !
Dinner served nightly on the patio.
Cheers!
Rita, I love your tablescape, and I can't believe that your husband built that cute flower box! He did a super job. Love the blue and white (it's my favorite color combination... I'm a blue girl from the get-go!). Such a pretty spot for dining, too. Do you have room for one more???
ReplyDeleteHappy Tablescape Thursday to you...
XO,
Sheila :-)

Rita,
ReplyDeleteTo begin with, I'm in love with the chargers. Beautiful!
My hubby and I like eating on the back patio during the summer months too. We turn on our ball string lights and listen to the fountain splash down, just like the two of you.
Even though we are having warm weather here in Southern California (I almost feel guilty with the rest of the nation under a blanket of snow), the temperature dips too low to eat out in the evening. But bring it on during the summer months.
Love the placmats and the pillow as well. Did you make the pillow. It's great.
Oh, so beautiful. Love the blue. You do such great tablescapes. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteOK, I'm officially envious! Western PA with its snow and ice and freezing temperatures keeps us indoors all winter. It is lovely to see your meal outdoors. Lucky you! Peggy from PA
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful home you and your husband have. Just gorgeous. I want to tell you that your first two pictures..each like a prayer.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much.
Lovely! ESPECIALLY since I am sitting here looking out the window at SEVEN inches of snow that fell last night with sub-zero air temps! Florida is looking pretty darn good right about now! :-) Beautiful table. I love the blue and white. So peaceful. Have a fabulous and WARM weekend! ;-)
ReplyDeleteHow lovely a spot for outdoor dining -- the blues and whites look so pretty. I'm afraid that if we tried to dine outdoors -- we would be about as blue as your chargers!
ReplyDeleteI'm always taken by a pretty blue and white setting. Your dishes are lovely...great get! Thank you for sharing your charming design. Cherry Kay
ReplyDeleteLooks magical. Um, what time should I be there for dinner? x Marnie - Australia
