How To Say Good Night In Swedish.

I like to change the bedding each season,
Spring/Summer, Fall/Winter,  and of course Christmas.
That being said, this look is transitional......
meaning I transitioned myself thru IKEA
and found this king duvet with two king shams
 on sale for $14.99..
The bed tray I found at the neighborhood
garage sale.
Once in a while if it's raining I like morning coffee in bed.
Another thrifty hand crocheted afghan.
Perfect for napping.
The only napper using it is Lucy!
 This was the summer bedding.
 Palm trees on matelasse.
One of my many quilts at the foot of the bed.

  1. What a welcoming bed! And what a lucky little dog to get to live in such comfort! IKEA is just amazing!

  2. The pattern of your bedding (blue and white daisies) and the colors (bright blue and crisp white) are so fresh and pretty. I like how you change your bedding for the seasons. Thank you!

  4. Hello! As a new follower of your delightful blog, I want to let you know how much I'm enjoying going through the archives and drinking it all in.

I, too, am in love with blue and white china. My pattern is Blue Calico, which I mix with plain white dishes.

Looking forward to following with joy.

  6. Love your transitional bedding. It looks so restful and inviting, especially with the sweet breakfast tray. Your darling little Lucy looks so comfortable on that afghan. Our little Scotties love to snuggle on blankets of any type.

  7. Hello, May Days and good morning. I stopped by on a link from Diann Thrifty Groove.
Your blue and white theme bedding is so pretty; I like shades of blue as well.
Your dog, Lucy looks so comfy on the handmade afghan; Handmade crocheted blankets are a treasure to be passed along when the original owner no longer needs it.
