I love all your vintage clocks. I am a collector as well. I especially love the Grandfather clock you gave to your mother. Bet she was thrilled! Fondly, Susie
ReplyDeleteI love all your German and the one you gave to your mom, what a generous daughter!! I have one for the wall, very much like yours, it's vintage, made in NYC, it was my fil's, he gave it to my hubby and I love the chimes as my gradfather had one and it reminds me when I was a little girl. Lots of hugs. FABBY
ReplyDeleteBeautiful treasures and memories!! My parents have a grandfather clock in their home and when I visit I love the feel the chimes fill the home with. Wishing you a fabulous day xo HHL

Your collection is marvelous. I love the meaning attached to the clocks you've shown us, and the opening quote is excellent.
ReplyDeleteA wonderful childhood memory is that of the chiming mantel clock in my grandparents house. I have no idea what happened to it, so several years ago I bought one for our home, and I absolutely *love* the soothing sound of it.
Beautiful ! I love your clocks ! Thanks foe sharing.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful clocks! I keep telling myself to make the time to do all these things-but they never seem to get done-isn't that terrible.
ReplyDeleteYour clocks are all gorgeous. I love them under a cloche too. Never thought of that idea. I also couldn't help but notice your beautiful vignette of photos on the end table. So pretty. Everything is so well done and accessorized. Thanks so much for joining TTT. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteYour clocks are beautiful and what memories they recall. We brought back four clocks from Germany when we lived there. Nice post and nice thoughts about finding time to enjoy the important things in life.
