The Girl Who Played With Dishes

I'm thinking that should be my new blog name.
We stopped by IKEA for their yummy Swedish meatballs. You need to walk a labyrinth to exit the store. It runs thru every department...tempting you. I almost made it out and then I spotted these.
12" blue plates just the right size to use as chargers.
And they were on sale no less! For $1.99!
I can use them with at least a dozen different plates.
Chinese blue, yellow and white form Garden Ridge
The Chinese plates are in 4 different patterns.
I have the salad/dessert plates and large mugs too.
I found four more patterns that worked with the new chargers.
Windsor & Browne- Blue Grape Leaves: Italy
 Franciscan-Denmark: ironstone from England
J&G Meakin-Classic Blue Nordic: ironstone from England
Johnson Brother-Asiatic Pheasant: England
Villeroy & Boch-Vieux Luxembourg: German porcelain
 Wisterling-Schwarzenbach: porcelain from Bavaria Germany
 Churchill-Blue Willow: England
Longaberger-Classic Blue pottery: USA
Salem China Co.-Olde Staffordshire English Village: ironstone from England
 Nikko: Japan
Tiffany & Co. New York: Royal Worcester England
Queens-Thanksgiving: England
Windsor & Browne: Italy
Villeroy & Boch-Amapola: porcelain from Germany
 Thomson pottery: China
Longaberger-Cornflower: pottery USA

summing up:
Dinner for two and 4 new chargers- $13.72
plus tax.
A yummy deal!
