The roll up cabinet door in our van
needed to be replaced.

It was getting split and stuck.

What to do? Another cabinet door would

I thought I could make some sort of art

I thought I could make some sort of art
project to use in place of a cabinet front.
Larry removed the old roll-up.
We bought molding. Cut and stained it.
A thin sheet of smooth plywood,
cut to size and stained.

The inspiration for this project came from

I found some leftover paint in the garage.
Roll it on.
Two coats.
After it dries, peel off the tape.
Add the molding and attach to the
cabinet with two small hinges.
If we ever change our mind and find
a better solution we can always use this
in our Smoky Mountain getaway in NC.
This was certainly the easiest and
cheapest solution.
Plus...our van has a little art.
It will be much easier to get into
this large storage space than it was
with the roll down.
Now we're ready for another road trip.
sssssh!
If the doggies hear, they'll get very excited!
