I don't need to make a lot of New Year's
resolutions for 2012 because I still have a lot
left over from last year.
One that I want to renew is to take time
for afternoon tea and a good read more often.
Another is to spend more time on the patio.
Red poinsettias get a new look
in a blue and white pot.
They brighten the patio.
Add some here and there.
I'll also try to propagate more orchids.
 Take a cue from Lucy.
Find a sunny spot and enjoy.

  1. Those are great resolutions! [and I don't believe in them~check out my blog if you get a chance,]
    Cheers to you!

  2. Sounds like an excellent plan, especially the tea!

    Happy 2012!

  3. Lucy has the right idea! Happy 2012! XO Cindy

  4. I will soon be able to soak up some sun and do some reading too. We will be going to sunny Fl. in Feb.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can't wait!!!! XO, Pinky

  5. Hi Rita, How nice to be able to sit on your patio this time of year. Lucy seems quite content there.
PS: I just sent you an email!

  6. That all sounds wonderful. Happy New Year. Thanks for joining TTT. I love your flowers. Hugs, Marty

  7. I've only made 1 NY's resolution this year, and that's to lose weight. I figured if I only have 1 I'll be more successful. I don't want to go through another summer - UGH! Love yours though. Love the poinsettias. I do a lot of propagation, but never orchids, but did receive one from my daughter-in-law for Christmas. I sure wish I could be sitting on my patio, but it only 30 here! Thanks for sharing your creativity and resolutions over at Sunday's Best.
