Bunny Pancakes

Yes we did! We made Bunny Pancakes!
These are too cute and too fun to make!
Spoon the pancake batter onto to griddle in
( your favorite recipe or mine)
the sizes needed; small, medium and larger
circles for the head, body and feet.
Oblong shape for the ears.  Assemble adding
banana slices for the paws and mini
chocolate chips for the toes. Make a tail
with a dollop of whipped cream.
Then fuzz it up with coconut if you have it.

Cheers!

6 Tips To Alphabetize and Organize Your Pinterest Boards

It's so much easier to find a board I'm looking
for now that I've alphabetized my 185 boards.
1. ALPHABETIZE: Go to your Pinterest site. Take your mouse and move your cursor over any board you want to move. The hand icon will appear. Left click on it and hold it down while you drag it to the spot you want. If you have lots of boards to scroll past, it will be easier if you scroll up through your boards with your right hand until you find the spot you want to drop it. Then drag the board using your left hand to that spot. It will shift the boards on each side out of the way. Unclick the mouse and release the board. I had to try this a few times to get the hang of it.

2. SUBDIVIDE BOARDS:  Once you have too many pins in one board  it's time to create sub categories. Keep the first word consistent.  My Christmas board was filled beyond capacity. I couldn't find anything. Now I have Christmas-Crafts, Christmas-Ornaments, Christmas-Decor, etc. I did the same with recipes. Subdivide!

3. COVER PHOTO: Use a good cover photo. Again, it's easier to find my "Hearts" board because there's a big heart cover photo. Change your cover photo using the edit board's icon.

4. DELETE DUPES: Pinterest now lets you know if you've already pinned something, but
if you've been pinning since the beginning, you'll need to weed out the duplicate pins.

5. MOVE PINS IN WRONG CATEGORY: Hit the edit icon in the pin to move it where it belongs. I find strays all the time. It's a pinning in a hurry thing.

6. DELETE PINS & BOARDS: Yes, some gotta go! Change the title of the boards that are not working for you too. This is an ongoing process. A little at a time.

You can follow my boards HERE or click on the Pinterest widget on the right.
Happy Pinning!

Days Of The Week Embroidered Kitchen Towels

I found these cute hand embroidered kitchen
towels at a crafts booth in North Carolina.
The "traditional chores" of the week.
I've been displaying a new towel
each day in the kitchen.
They are just for fun.
Monday - Washing
Tuesday - Ironing
Wednesday - Cleaning
Thursday - Marketing
Friday - Baking
 Saturday - Mending
Sunday - Day of Rest and Church.
Seems like a good schedule, though I
would switch a few of the days;
Wednesday - mending, Friday - cleaning,
and Saturday - baking. If I were
that organized. But where is my
Tennis towel?

Cheers!

Having A Ball (Jar)

I have collected a few vintage aqua Ball jars
that did not have their original lids.
There are still lots of pretty uses for them.
I'm using this one in my bathroom. It's  filled
with cotton balls and the topper is a
votive/butte cup that holds the Q-tips.

These very large Ball jars were a great find.
They sit on the window ledge and hold extra
bars of oatmeal soap, cotton balls,
and epson salt with a scoop.
Of course jars without lids always make a great vase.

I have a  bit of a jar obsession.
Here's the proof:

New Faucet ~ New Look

A 'new' faucet was a fast mimi-makeover
for the cabana bathroom sink. I still had a
few free faucets to use.
I think this pump-style one works well in here.
I love how the water flows out of it.
My blue and white Crabtree and Evelyn
soap dish and bar of navy soap.
A Longaberger Daisy basket is filled with
rolled washcloths to use as individual
hand towels. A votive candle in surrounded
with shells in a vintage aqua Ball jar
The only picture I have of the "before" is the
one taken  here at Christmas.
This project was so small and fast that I
didn't think to take a "before" picture of
the old faucet until it was finished. I then
realized how much I like it and
how much better it looked.

Cheers!

Roses and Teacups

Two of my favorite things,
roses and teacups together.
What I like best thing about using the
Waterlogue app is the ability to print out
very pretty and frameable art cards.
These are the roses that are drying on the mantle.
They are the remains from a get well
bouquet sent to my daughter.
(she has a broken foot)
Here's the arrangement
Balancing out then other side of the mantle.
A pretty Goldilocks yellow rose teacup.
And in Waterlogue.

More roses in the oil painting.
Each vintage teacup and saucer in this
set of 6 has a different color rose and
 a different name; Monique, Symphonie,
Minerve, Pour Toi, Peace, and Goldilocks.
It's Adderley fine bone china England..

Cheers!
