When those last few roses are feeling droopy
I give them a little support.
All I need is a straw.
A clear one looks best.
Cut a little off the end of the stem
and remove any leaves.
Slip on the straw up to the head.
Back in fresh water.
Looking perky!
Cheers!
What a great idea. I am definitely going to do this the next time my flowers droop. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThank you! I have some flowers right now that are drooping in my flower vase and will try the straws!

ReplyDeleteWhy didn't I think of that? Great idea!
Well that is definitely clever. Love this idea. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteI will be trying this!! We have roses ready to bloom in our garden and I can make some fragrant bouquets!
ReplyDeleteLast night I came across a plastic pants hanger and snipped it into two chip clips! Such great ideas! Do you stay up at night thinking all these up??
Great idea!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the tip. I have one dozen long stemmed red roses (anniversary) sitting on the dining room table and was dreading the droop. Now I can push them along for a few more days.
