And To All A Goodnight!

Our bedroom gets a cozy Christmas makeover.
I added a lighted wreath above the headboard.
Topped the bed with a red checkeboard quilt, shams and accent pillow. I got lots of great bedroom ideas a few years ago from a favorite blogger,
 Tina of Cherry Hill Cottage.
The netting is tied back at each corner with a red ribbon, a Christmas stocking and fresh Christmas tree clippings. It smells like Christmas.
I had the pillow screen printed. Yes, that's a doggie tail you see.
Fit for Princess.
 Layers of pillows.
 Delicate embroidered  pillowcase.
Toy doggie with a Christmas scarf
A few needlepoint pillows.
Red and green floral sheets by Ralph Lauren, and if it gets colder........
soft and cozy RED flannel sheets!
An extra soft plush red blanket at the foot of the bed.
At the end of the bed, I have a  a Christmas tea set by Fitz and Floyd on a vintage bed tray, a little votive candle and a few favorite Christmas books.
The round side table next to the bed gets a new skirt.
I framed a few favorite Christmas cards. Four of them are of cardinals in the snow framed in black wood.
A plaid table topper, a small tree, candy striped red baskets and a little soft Christmas music on the player.
Even Lucy get a new red blanket in her basket.
and it's "To all a goodnight!"

  10. Love the screenprinted pillow. The room reminds me of the parents' bedroom in Home Alone 1. Too cute that Lucy has her own special Christmas bed. Jealous that it's 63 degrees there tonight. :) We're getting snow. Like your playlist too.

  29. Eeeeee!!! Rita, this is GORGEOUS! I am so copying you this year. Oh my! Do I really have to wait 'til December?

First off, I couldn't resist that title...who could? And that cute doggie tail stirring our curiosity in one of the pictures...precious.

Those diamond checkered shams are spectacular. But you brought it all together with your amazing taste and eye for details.

I know...maybe I can start purchasing each item from now until the holidays. Woo-hoo!!

Thank you so much for participating. I must add you to Day 3's feature tomorrow.
    Love and blessings.
