May Table Setting

I brought in one of my vintage soda crates
to use for the centerpiece on our table.
The yellow and blue in the Chinese tea pot
are the same colors as the Pepsi crate.
It has 4 sections to fill.
Remixing my things gives me a new look.
I'm using this vintage flower frog as a
place card holder.
The dishes are Villeroy & Boch Botanica.
I found a nice thyme plant at Publix.
I've snipped it for several of our favorite
grilled meat marinade recipes:
Flank Steak & Pork Tenderloin
as well as Roast Chicken. I love fresh thyme.
 This section holds extra napkins.
 A votive holder, cocktail napkins,
a Ball jar filled with tableware,
and my orchid are in this section.
There's a place for wine, a
bottle of Pellegrino water, another
votive light and
 salt & pepper.
Set for two.
The tea set.
The votive glass holders are old insulator
caps. The metal stands just happen to fit.
I saved the stands when their original
glass cups broke.
I like these vintage glass
insulators better.
I think they make great votive holders.
They give a nice light during dinner.

Cheers!
