The vintage blue and white table cloth was a souvenir I bought on a road trip we took to the Hamptons in October 1995. I found it in a little antique shop in Sag Harbor, Long Island. Martha Stewart mentioned the shop on her show, as one of her favorites. The time we stopped in, the owner said that we had missed Martha by 10 minutes.
I keep all the tags and receipts for antique purchases in a file in an antique library catalog wood file box.
I use these file boxes for my recipe cards too.
I found the original tags. I bought two tablecloths that day. Better than a T shirt from Sag Harbor, don't you think? Look at how long I've enjoyed them!

Love it!!! I've always been in love with the Blue&White. I think it adds SUCH a COOL feeling to the hottest summer days, just like a refreshing breeze coming off the ocean. I LOVE your tablecloth(I have the same one, WOW, HOW ABOUT THAT). How big is yours??? It was love at first sight MANY years ago at a flea market, I paid $25 for it from a man (SO DIRTY), I hated to see him touch it. BUT believe it or not it was spotless... Do you have another picture of yours without the GORGEOUS display so I can see if we have "twins"??? Don't you also love Blue&white for winter? I'm knew to blogging so I would LOVE to invite you to peek in on me(I NEED Followers)... "Sweet Marty was my VERY 1st follower so she will always be EXTRA Special to me...
